programs for students, faculty, alumni and practitioners throughout
Anchoring the Center's offerings is the Duberstein
Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, the only bankruptcy moot
court competition and the largest single-site appellate moot court
competition in the nation.
The 21st Annual Competition and Gala Awards Banquet
will take place on March 9-11, 2013.
On September 16, 2011, the Center, the ABI Law
Review and the Center
for Law and Religion presented their Fall 2011 symposium,
Religion and Bankruptcy: Perspectives Thereon and Treatment
Therein, which brought together leading bankruptcy experts and
thinkers examined both sides of this relationship, religion’s
contributions to bankruptcy and its treatment therein.
On October 8, 2010, the Center and the ABI Law

The SEC in Bankruptcy: Past, Present and Future, which brought
together prominent scholars and practitioners to discuss the SEC's
past and present involvement with bankruptcy and to suggest
approaches for the future.
