Professional Development for Catholic School Teachers

St. John's University is pleased to announce the expansion of its Web-based Professional Development courses designed for teachers of literacy, mathematics, science and social studies in grades K-12. Courses are also offered on classroom management, teaching in a multicultural classroom, fostering literacy development of English language learners and involving parents in the instruction of their children at home and in the classroom.

Based on proven success and increased demand these courses, once only available to teachers in the New York City Metropolitan Area, courses are now being offered to teachers nationwide. Course assignments require participants to implement activities with their students. To be accepted into a course, applicants must currently be teaching
in a K-12 school.
