Online Learning

The School of Education Graduate Division through St. John's Online Learning offers two graduate online degree programs.  Both these programs are fully accredited by New York State Department of Education.  We offer small classes taught by the same outstanding full-time faculty members who teach our on-campus courses, as well as a range of university services available online. Online Gifted Course
St. John's University, Graduate School of Education is offering an online gifted course to enable teachers to secure the New York State Department of Education extension in the teaching of the gifted. This extension to the teaching license can be secured with 12 graduate credits in gifted education and a passing score on the Content Specialty Test. 

Web-based Professional Development
Web-based Professional Development courses are designed for teachers of literacy, mathematics, science and social studies in grades K-12. Courses are also offered on teaching in a multicultural classroom, fostering literacy development of English language learners and involving parents in the instruction of their children at home and in the classroom. Non-Matriculated Application
To apply as a non-matriculated student, you must submit the following:

As a non-matriculated applicant, you must resubmit paperwork each semester or until you are formally accepted as a matriculated student.  You may also take up to 12 credits as a non-matriculated student.

Once you are accepted as a non-matriculated student, you would then get in touch with your advisor regarding registration.
