Associate Dean

The School of Education at St. John's University is designed to
prepare you to meet the challenges of modern education. We offer
carefully designed programs and opportunities to prepare you for
teaching, counseling, administrative, supervisory, and leadership
roles in schools and other educational organizations.
The St. John's Graduate Division of the School of Education
understands the need for well-trained, compassionate educators and
has been meeting that need since 1908.
The cornerstone of the Graduate Division of the School of
Education is the Vincentian Mission of St. John's University, which
speaks of helping others within the community regardless of race,
ethnicity, or creed. As a result, our graduates are conscientious
and compassionate educators with a strong sense of responsibility
to their students.
Due to the excellent reputation of our programs, our graduates
readily find teaching positions. In fact, St. John's University is
one of the leading providers of teachers to the New York City
school system.
As a graduate student in the School of Education, you are
afforded every opportunity to achieve your goals as a critical
thinker and as a career-minded individual. We provide a nurturing
and academic environment so that you can pursue both personal
enhancement and professional advancement.
St. John's University's commitment to excellence is well
documented in the accomplishments of our graduates. We invite you
to be part of our rich history as you embark upon your career.
