Title:Online Counseling Courses: Perceptions
on Instruction, Assessment, and Outcomes
Description: This study examines the perceptions
of counseling faculty regarding the appropriateness of teaching
counseling skills online. It also examines students’ perceptions of
the difficulties with the online learning format. It highlights
some of the challenges for faculty designing online courses and
possible assessments for students in those courses, as well as
student outcomes.

Description: This paper describes the “In
Collaboration Program” which was designed to offer pre-service
teachers ideas to support parents. Integrated into a university
math methods course, findings support the use of collaborative
efforts between teachers in classrooms and parents of school-aged
children.

development of critical thinking through concurrent virtual
postings. Theoretical and practical implications for
reflecting in such a third space will be explored.
