Registration with Department of Education

The Department of Education (DOE) is the funding source for this program. Therefore, registration into the Program and the decision on who takes what classes lies with the DOE.

Title IIA Graduate Courses, Administration and Supervision, School Building Leadership Program
The DOE is sending out these packets to all New York City non public schools.  Your head of school or principal should receive this packet the week of March 20.  If your principal does not receive this information, he or she should contact the DOE directly. 

This packet of information will include a registration form.  Please note that you must fill out one registration form for every course you wish to take and return the form to the DOE.  This occurs for every semester you wish to participate in this program.  (The St. John's Application Process takes place after you are approved for the program by the DOE.) 

Please indicate clearly on each registration form

  • that you would like to attend St. John’s University
  • which campus you would like to attend
  • which course you would like register for
  • and the format of the course you would like to participate in
    (Face to Face or Online)

The DOE will contact you if you have been approved and informs St. John’s University which students are to be registered.  It is at this time your interaction with St. John's University can begin.
