The School of Education graduate division of St. John’s
University offers a three-credit summer program in Early Childhood
Education in Italy.
Who is eligible?
- The Travel Abroad Program is especially designed for
experienced early childhood teachers and administrators
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited
university in early childhood or a related field
- St. John’s alumni or St. John’s staff may also apply
- Others interested in participating without credit are also
invited to apply (up to 4 participants)
- St. John's undergraduates in senior year in good academic
standing could also apply.
Application Procedure
Application deadline: March 12,
2008*
Acceptance fee: $750, due upon
acceptance, non-refundable (to be deducted from final cost for
credit bearing students)
Credit-bearing payment
schedule:
- $50.00 university fee by March 12, 2008
- $2,810 program fee payable by March 12, 2008
- Remaining tuition fee payable by March 19, 2008
Non-credit-bearing participant costs must be paid in full by
March 12, 2008. No refunds after March 19, 2008. Make checks
payable to: St. John’s University. Airfare to and from Italy
not included in these fees or costs.
*Applications received after March 12, 2008 will be considered
if openings are available.
10 Pacini Scholoarships are available for graduate study (three
full tuition credits).
