Graduation Requirements

Course requirements have been upgraded and revised in accordance with the new State School Building Leader Masters and consist of a core of 18 graduate credits in School Administration, an Intensive 3 credit Internship and an additional 12 graduate credits in School Administration for a total of 33 graduate credits. 

For further information, prospective students are advised to contact their academic advisor or the Chair. To fulfill the internship requirement, the internship application form and program proposal must be submitted to the Coordinator of the Internship Program and receive approval of the Chair, Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership, at least two months prior to the session in which the applicant plans to carry out his/her internship. A special internship fee applies outside of the New York metropolitan area to provide for remote supervision. Courses must be selected in consultation with program advisor.
