EDU 5411/7411: Administering, Organizing and Developing Program Alternatives For Gifted and Talented Students

Course Description (multiple sections taught by different instructors; consult your academic advisor for the name of your instructor).
This course concerns the 14-16 school-based alternatives that have proven effective for gifted and talented students.  This course also deals with special problems associated with gifted programs including evaluation, tracking, cooperative learning, and gender/minority equity.  This course is designed to satisfy NY State and NY City license extensions for teaching gifted students.
