Greetings and welcome to Discover New York
(DNY)!
In Fall 2001, the University mandated all first-year students to
complete this three-credit course. One of the key components of the
course is attendance at various on- and off-campus Cultural and
Transition to Higher Education events. We are here to provide
assistance in the planning and implementation of such programs for
your class.
In order for this to be a smooth transition for both you and
your students, we ask that you read this guide, which should answer
all questions pertaining to programming opportunities. Once again,
