Core Curriculum
The core courses are designed to guide students in learning to
integrate skills and knowledge gained in one course with what they
learn in others, including their major.
There are two groups of courses: common core requirements and
distributed core requirements. All students take the same nine
courses of the "common core" and take other courses in the
"distributed core," which vary somewhat by college or
program.

degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and
Bachelor of Science in St. John's College of Arts and
