The President of St. John's University, Rev. Donald J.
Harrington, C.M. and the Provost, Dr. Julia A. Upton, RSM,
will congratulate graduates as their names are read and
graduates cross the stage. At this time, you will receive only your
"diploma case".
The Rome campus only holds one Commencement ceremony a year, in
June.
"Conferral" means that the Registrar's office posts a notation
of the award of a degree in our academic record-keeping system and
this notation appears on the transcripts. Students whose degrees
are conferred in January are invited to attend the June
commencement ceremony. If you are one of these candidates, please
contact your Academic Dean's office.
Certificates of Excellence
All academic honors will be tentative, pending receipt of final
grades and the calculations of final GPAs.
Note
No diplomas are issued until a student completes all degree
requirements. No diplomas will be issued to anyone who has an
outstanding balance on his/her student account.
No transcripts will be issued until a student has paid all
bills.
