Conferral of Degrees

The President of St. John's University, Rev. Donald J. Harrington, C.M. will congratulate graduates as their names are read and graduates cross the stage. At this time, you will receive only your "diploma case".

"Conferral" means that the Registrar's office posts a notation of the award of a degree in our academic record-keeping system and this notation appears on the transcripts.
Students whose degrees have been conferred in September or January are invited to attend the Commencement Ceremony. If you are one of these graduates, please contact your Academic Dean's office.

Certificates of Excellence
All academic honors will be tentative, pending receipt of final grades and the calculations of final GPAs.
