Each doctoral student will receive the following tickets along with
their academic attire:

4 tickets
Doctoral Hooding Ceremony - 10 tickets
Academic Attire
Wearing Academic Attire (cap, gown and hood) is both traditional
and required for participation in both the St. John's University
Commencement Exercises and the Doctoral Hooding Ceremonies.
Academic
Heraldry
Students may keep their academic attire as a souvenir gift
from St. John’s University. Students are advised to try on their
cap, gown and hood at distribution to allow for any changes that
need to be made.

follow the instructions provided. If you have not already completed
this form, please do so immediately.

Although this option is strongly advised against, as it will
delay your arrival and the procession, if a doctoral student is
unable to attend their assigned distribution they will be allowed
to pick up their attire in Marillac Terrace in the 2 hours prior to
their scheduled ceremony. Academic Attire Distribution will also
take place on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in
Marillac Terrace. These options are only available for those
graduates who are unable to pick up their Academic Attire on their
scheduled dates and times.
Third Party Pick up
All academic attire must be picked up in person by the candidates.
If, however, the degree candidate is unable to pick up at the times
allotted, a third party may pick items up providing the individual
has a copy of the student's order confirmation and StormCard
ID.
