Diplomas
The University requires a short period of time to confirm that all
necessary degree requirements have been completed therefore,
diplomas should be available after Monday, June 20, 2011. Please
contact your dean’s office for further details.
Diploma Frames
Diploma frames are available for purchase through
Follett Bookstore.
Graduation Announcements
Personalized St. John's University announcements of graduation are
available for purchase
online. Please note that announcements should be ordered six
weeks before the graduation date – order early. Announcements CAN
NOT be used as tickets and are not available for purchase at
graduation.
Program Books
In keeping with the University’s Sustainability Initiative, the
University has decided to produce a streamlined souvenir program
for all guests of the ceremony. This decision has enabled the
University to save over 1,000,000 sheets of paper annually.
Graduates will receive a commemorative program that includes a
full list of graduate names when they pick up their diplomas.
Diplomas will be available for pick up from each graduate’s
respective Dean’s office beginning Monday, June 20, 2011.
Stole of Gratitude
The Stole of Gratitude can be worn during the commencement
ceremony. After the ceremony, the new graduate presents the Stole
of Gratitude to someone who provided extraordinary help or support,
i.e., parents, relatives, or mentors who have helped with wisdom,
words of support or with financial assistance. The Stole of
Gratitude is available for purchase for $20 during Academic Attire
Distribution.
Tassels and Certificates of
Appreciation
Available for purchase during Academic Attire Distribution.
Graduates receive a plain black tassel with their academic attire.
Commemorative red and white tassels are available for purchase
during Academic Attire Distribution. Tassel prices range from $5 to
$7.
