Key Dates and Deadlines

Between February 25 - March 8             

• Visit your dean’s office to confirm your eligibility to participate in Commencement 2013
• Review the Queens Commencement 2013 Information Book and read through this Web site
• Visit the University Information System (UIS) to:
    ~ Review your transcript for accuracy of grade changes, transfer credits, etc.                               
    ~ Check your account for holds (parking tickets, library fines) and clear all holds with the Bursar’s Office                               
    ~ Update your home address and contact information 
• Like us @STJ Campus Activities to receive Important Graduation Information
• Follow us @STJ Commencement before March 22 for a chance to win three extra Commencement tickets!
• Participate in the 2013 Commencement Thank You Video. Click here for details

March 8                    

• Online application for diploma ordering opens
   ~ Go to the University Information System to order your diploma 

• Online registration and academic attire ordering opens for Commencement
    ~ Go to University Information System to register for your Commencement ceremonies and order your academic attire                              

April 21                               

• Last day to order graduation announcements if you want them in time for Commencement.  Click here to order.

April 26

• Last day to purchase tickets for the Family Grad Dinner from the Office of Student Affairs.  Click here for more information.

April 29                      

• Last day to register and order academic attire for Commencement 2013
    ~ Go to the University Information System to register for Commencement ceremonies and order your academic attire 

May 7                       

• Last day to complete the online application for diploma
  ~ go to the University Information System to order your diploma 

May 8, 10, and 13              

• Pick up academic attire and Commencement/Hooding ceremony tickets on your scheduled Academic Attire Distribution day                               
• Pick up Baccalaureate Mass tickets from the Office of Campus Ministry
• Pre-order Commencement Ceremony DVD from Graduation Nation at www.graduationnation.com                               
• Pre-order Commencement Ceremony Portraits and Diploma Photos from Grad Images® at www.gradimages.com 

(All students must pick up their attire and tickets during academic attire distribution.)

May 20                 

• Remember to register for the St. John’s online alumni community at www.stjohns.edu/alumni 

June 19                   

• Pick up diploma (except for Physician Assistants) and commemorative commencement book from your dean’s office 

July 8                      

• Pick up your Physician Assistant diplomas and commemorative commencement book from your dean’s office
