A unique and critically significant ingredient that
characterizes this year’s exhibition is the multiplicity of its
artistic directions. Free from thematic parameters, this exhibition
has provided faculty with an opportunity to display work that
represents their most personal and insightful inner visions.
Showcased on the gallery walls is a diverse presentation of styles
and technical approaches ranging from the traditional to the
experimental which encompasses a wide spectrum of media and
aesthetic philosophies.
This show not only highlights a creatively unique and productive
faculty, but affords our students a wonderful opportunity to see,
contemplate and engage faculty in discussions about their work as
professional artists.
The faculty of the Department of Fine Arts welcomes the opportunity
to share their work with the St. John’s University community, and I
hope everyone enjoys the show!
