“Forever the Yangtze Gorges” will display a wide range of photos of the Yangtze River taken by Mr. Yun-feng Zheng. In China, Yun-feng Zheng has been acclaimed as one of the most renown photographers of the Yangtze Gorges. He is currently the Vice President of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Literature and Arts.
The exhibition will show not only China's beautiful landscapes but also ways of utilizing natural resources, such as developing the Gezhouba Dam at the famous Three Gorges to harness energy. It is hoped that this exhibition will promote a better understanding of Chinese natural heritages, and their continuing role in Chinese life. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 (from 12:10- 1:30pm).
