Extending Some Unorthodox Approaches To
Standard Subjects

Abstract
Some unusual approaches to undergraduate math have difficulties and
are rarely used. I am trying to remove some of these difficulties
by altering these techniques, since they are quicker than the
standard approaches. Specifically some difficulties are:
- To avoid division by zero in Lewis Carroll's method of "Alice
In Determinant Land."
- An easier way to find a pseudoinverse of any matrix than by
factoring it into various forms.
- Possibly find a shortcut to 4-by-4 or higher order determinants
by extending Cromer's method (a high school student) of quick
evaluation of a 3-by-3.
