St. John’s University’s Intranet, accessible from any St. John’s
campus or by VPN, provides the administration, staff and faculty
with University news, events and departmental information, as well
as faculty tools, employee resources and quick links to many
University forms, facts and resources. - Web Digest
The Web Digest, published through daily e-mail communications and
through an Intranet calendar, keeps faculty, administrators and
staff apprised of the latest news and events throughout the St.
John’s community. -

- Faculty Absences
If you become ill or must miss a class for any
reason, contact your Chair as soon as possible. If it is a
planned absence, contact your Chair to make arrangements to have
your class covered.
Secretarial Assistance
In most cases, secretarial assistance for the reproduction
of exams and other course materials is available in the office
of the department which offers the course(s) you are
teaching. It is important to hand in these materials well in
advance of when you will need them, to give the staff ample time to
prepare them.
Availability of Supplies
Chalk, whiteboard markers, and other supplies you might need for
class are available from the departmental secretary.
