Facing a rising demand for quality educators, The School of Education
prepares students for careers as professional teachers, counselors
and administrators. We offer carefully designed programs and
opportunities to prepare you for teaching, counseling,
administrative, supervisory and leadership roles in schools and
other educational organizations.

As a graduate student in The School of Education, you are
afforded every opportunity to achieve your goals as a critical
thinker and as a career-minded individual. We provide a
nurturing scholastic environment so that you can pursue both
personal enhancement and professional advancement in your
career. Classes are also available towards doctoral study in
school leadership, some of which are offered on-line.
Our accelerated Career Change
Program is designed to enable college graduates from other
fields to enter the teaching profession. Students
participating in this program can qualify for teaching positions
within one year, even by attending part-time.
