There is a growing trend in colleges and universities to promote active engagement with unique and uncommon library and archival collections – especially to encourage undergraduate use of primary sources. The session will introduce some of the rich, and perhaps unexpected, material held in the University Archives and Special Collections. The presentation will include a discussion of the kinds of collaborative projects that have been, and could be, developed to utilize these collections in support of student and faculty research and to enhance teaching and learning.
