I am an 18-year-old sophomore majoring in Chemistry.
I have been in the United States for about 5 years now from the
central African countries of Congo (Kinshasa) and Gabon, making
English my third language. My major and the fact that I only
learned English a couple of years ago probably do not make the most
likely candidate to be a writing consultant, but here I am. I
have been at the writing center
for almost a year now, and it had been a wonderful experience, as
well as a terrifying one. This is so especially because I get
to work on both campuses, allowing me a dual adventure. I
hope to be here for the remainder of my years at St. John’s and to continue to develop as I help others
to do so.
