As a freshman studying pharmacy, my coursework hinders me from
the variety of Literature and English classes I would like to take.
Deciding to become a Writing Counselor at the University
Writing Center has been one of the greatest decisions of my student
career. I find solace every minute I spend at the Writing
Center, working with students and fellow writing consultants.
Interested in more than the sciences, I learn new ideas and
perspectives every day from my co-workers, who are more like a
loving and inviting family that took me right in, and from students
who share their papers. So, while I look forward to working
with students on their writing, I am successful in satisfying a
desire of my own- the desire to appreciate writing, discuss
literature, and gain knowledge through helping others.
