The Writing Center is a useful resource that I myself, as a
tutor,
utilize. I find comfort in trusting my colleagues to help me make
a
paper much better. For example, as an English major, it is always
good
to hear other ideas of other people rather than your own. Hearing
other opinions on any subject matter that I am writing about is
very
beneficial. Often, I find myself using the same suggestions I offer
to clients. The Writing Center gave me the tools and resources I
use on a daily basis. I read aloud, use "OWL" at Purdue
University's website, and often read more articles on literary
theory from amazing authors. Before the Writing Center, I never
really did that. I as a tutor get a lot out of the Writing Center,
and it is through that, that we consultants provide a great and
effective service for any and every client.
