The Writing Center is a useful resource that I myself, as a
tutor, utilize. I find comfort in trusting my colleagues
to help me make a piece of writing much better. It is always good to hear the ideas of other people rather
than depending solely on your own. Hearing
other opinions on any subject matter that I am writing about is
very beneficial. Often, I find myself
using the same suggestions I offer to clients. The Writing Center gives me the tools and resources I use on
a daily basis. These "tools" transfer over into
all my writing, whether it be academic, personal, or professional.
Having the ability to write anything from a
research paper to an entertainment news article is useful to any
writer. I, as a tutor, get a lot out of the
Writing Center, and it is through that that I as a consultant
provide a great and effective service for any and every
client.
