My name is
Lily, I am a senior at St. John's majoring in Television and Film
production, and minoring in creative writing. I approach every
session differently, because every person is different. However, my
favorite part about mentoring at the writing center is when clients
are able to point out patterns in their writing styles that they
have not noticed before, and are able to progress past them. I
believe the writing center is one of the best ways to push a writer
to enter the next phase of their writing skills, and it's exciting
for me when students notice the fact that they still can improve
and become better writers, even at the college level.
