      Interdisciplinary Collaboration in the University

You are invited to come to the Global Language and Culture Center, Room 104, St. John Hall on Tuesday, March 5th at 5pm for a lecture by Dr. Maria Sampelayo.  She will speak about interdisciplinary initiatives in the Spanish university system, especially in the area of academic research.  Dr. Maria H. Sampelayo has a Ph.D. in History from the University of Navarra, where she wrote a dissertation on “The Police During the Reign of Fernando VIII (1824-1827)".   She also has a Master’s in School Administration and has written several books and numerous articles on the sociology of education.  She has been a professor at Camilo Jose Cela University in Madrid since 2003.
