How We First Met

As far as I can say, I definitely remember how we first met.

You were in line at the post office window.

I was retrieving my mail: I wasn't ready ready yet.

Something got my attention, so I said hello.

Here is a flyer to my upcoming party.

You can call me for tickets or information.

Please call me even if you can't attend - hope I'm not being naughty.

Don't mind me I'm in complete admiration,

Just can't believe the beautiful sight I see.

One thing for sure, I would love to see you again.

By the way, you can call me Dee.

Take care, and remember I want to be your friend.

Two weeks went by, and I finally got a call-

Just arrived home and heard the phone ringing,

To my amazement - I was lucky I didn't fall.

I answered the phone and wondered, What was she thinking?

It all sounded good because she wanted to see me.

I told her, let me check my schedule and see.

She smiled at me and said to keep in touch.

I told her to stay sweet, because I wanted her very much.

What is a Blessing?

My son, Delon, is sweet and also very handsome. He gives my wife and I plenty of hugs.

Other times, he just smiles and says "Daddy." He also knows how to get out of his baby carriage.

Although my son has my wife's complexion, he looks like both of us, and to me, thats quite unique.

Since the birth of Delon, my life has changed for the better.

I have had a lot of luck recently, too.

I'm more at ease and I smile more.

I owe all these wonderful things in my life simply to the birth of my son.

In Delon, I not only see me, I also see my wife, and that represents happiness.
