In an effort to include a global perspective to our Core
curriculum and allow our first year students to come to experience
our international programs, we launched, in the Fall 2009
semester, our ICS Freshman Passport Program.
The program invites our first year students to add a 2-week
international experience to an ICS Core course. The 2-weeks
are offered either immediately before or after the traditional Fall
or Spring semester.
The same group of students taking part in the international
experience attend class with the same instructor during the
academic year, forming a learning community with a distinct bond
and goal. The international experience may include daily
classes, a servant leadership/transition component, afternoon
guided walking tours, day trips, and Academic Service Learning
work in a local soup kitchen.
For more information and details on this unique program, see the
Office of Global Studies website.

Passport Program is located
