Course Description
DNY 1000C: No New Yorker Left Behind: Neighborhoods and Social
Change in NYC
As New York City has undergone several social, ethnic, and
economic evolutions, in this course, students will explore and
investigate these changes within and among select neighborhoods
over time. Students will also learn to develop a critical lens to
identify and explain how structural forces, social processes, and
individuals shaped these changes.
