  Junior Study Vacations

With the Junior Study Vacation program, students are offered the opportunity to fully immerse themselves into a cultural, educational and engaging melting pot--in the heart of three exciting cities, New York, Chicago and Boston.

St. John's goal is to provide students with a safe, enjoyable, educational and seamless travel experience abroad. St. John's whole-heartedly ensures the safety and comfort of all students by providing comfortable and secure accommodations through high-quality dining, thorough safety measures, state-of-the-art technology, as well as young adult and family friendly dormitories and athletic facilities.

The best way to learn a language is to actively speak it. That's why students are encouraged to converse in American English outside of their English lessons during their Junior Study Vacation Program. One of the most integral parts of the summer Student Travel Program is the multi-level English course, which is designed to provide maximum exposure to American English.

Students can experience a multiple-city intense language immersion program in two, three, four or six week courses.

  • Social Media
  • Videos
  • Television shows
  • Practicing conversational English
  • Discussing current global events
  • Learning about excursion destinations prior to visiting the site
  • Writing in weekly journals
Students continue practicing their new language skills during cultural and social outings in the three exciting cities. Using this relaxed and enjoyable approach to learning another language, students gain practical experience in everyday English conversations and retain knowledge in a fresh and memorable manner!
