family.
The Freshman Center was created for
you. This is a testament of how important you are to the
University. As our newest members, it will soon become apparent
that you are not simply part of an institution of learning.
St. John's University has a proud tradition of service, a unique
population, and a myriad of resources, which will enhance your
experience as you embark on this exciting journey.
In order to assist you, you will be
assigned a personal advisor. This individual is here to guide
you. Your advisor will ensure that there is always
someone available to address your questions and challenge you
to reach new heights.
I invite you to take advantage of this
opportunity and embrace all that St. John's University has to
offer. By making friends, joining clubs and taking part in various
activities, you will fulfill your responsibility of being the best
student possible. Most importantly, take your studies seriously and
don't forget to utilize the Freshman Center. As your first-year
advisors, we will be with you step-by-step as you lay the
