St. John's University is a community of faith and service.
Campus Ministry is the division of the University which
strives to live up to the ideals with which the
University was founded. Campus Ministry welcomes
students of all religious faiths.

Congregation the Mission (CM)
This is the order of the vincentian priests who founded the
University.
Louise De Marillac
She was the founder of the Sisters of Charity and worked closely
with St. Vincent DePaul. Marillac Hall is named for Louise De
Marillac.
Our Lady of Lourdes
The University chapel on the Queens Campus. It is
located below Council Hall.
St. Thomas Moore Church
Church on the Queens Campus.
St. Vincent DePaul
He is the patron saint of catholic works. The Vincentian Priest who
founded the University patterned their lives after this saint who
lived his life serving the poor.
St. Vincent DePaul Chapel
Chapel located in Lavelle Hall on the Staten Island Campus.
