Geraldine Castelli serves as Assistant Director of the University Freshman Center.

Geraldine graduated in 2002 from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Business and Italian.  While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she served as a student worker in The College of Professional Studies Sport Management program.  Geraldine also participated in the St. John’s University Rome, Study Abroad program and was also an active member of The Torch (University newspaper) and WSJU 590AM (University radio station). 

After completing her undergraduate degree Geraldine recognized her strong interest in working in higher education. Her positive experience as an undergraduate student at St. John’s gave her the inspiration to give back to future students.

In 2006, Geraldine completed her Master’s Degree in Student Development Practice in Higher Education at St. John’s University. During that time, she served as a Graduate Assistant for The College of Professional Studies. 

Geraldine is currently working towards a Professional Diploma in Counseling.
