Ashwin Mehra, MBA, is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical
Psychology program at St. John's University. Prior to St. John's,
he attended the Masters program in General Psychology at NYU. He
has a Bachelors in Business Studies from the University of Mumbai
and an MBA in Organizational Behavior from NMIMS, Mumbai. He has
extensive corporate experience ranging from leading technology
projects to human resource management consulting. He was a
volunteer for a suicide helpline run by Samaritans Mumbai. At the
NYU Child Study Center, he participated in research conducting fMRI
scans for autistic children. His current interests include the
impact of early childhood experiences on psychopathology
development and on psychology related issues specific to the South
Asian population.
