Deborah Zlotnik, B.A. is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student
at St. John’s University and has been working with the Child HELP
Partnership since August 2008. Ms. Zlotnik has a BA from the
University of Rochester where she studied psychology and
Spanish. Prior to joining the Child HELP Partnership Ms.
Zlotnik worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital where she helped
implement the Child and Family Clinic Plus mental health screening
program in schools in Harlem and Washington Heights.
Additionally, Ms. Zlotnik was a research fellow at the Child and
Family Research Section of the National Institutes of Health where
she worked on various projects about child development and
parenting. Ms. Zlotnik is interested in researching
empirically-supported treatment in community settings, childhood
resilience, and caregiver-child relationships.
