Leda Dunn Wettre is a partner at the law firm of Robinson,
Wettre & Miller LLC in Newark, New Jersey. Her areas of
specialization include business litigation, employment litigation,
communications law and securities litigation. Ms. Wettre also has
extensive experience in trial court proceedings and appeals in both
federal and state courts in New Jersey.
Leda Dunn Wettre graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the
University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and received her J.D. from
Fordham University School of Law in 1993. At Fordham, she served as
the Managing Editor of the Fordham Law Review. After law school,
Ms. Wettre first worked as a litigation associate for Kramer Levin
Naftalis and Frankel LLP. She then was employed as a law
clerk for the Honorable John F. Keenan at the United States
District Court in the Southern District of New York, before joining
her current firm.
Ms. Wettre is an active member of numerous professional
associations. She is President of the Historical Society of
the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and
an active member of the Lawyers Advisory Committee and Association
of the Federal Bar.
Ms. Wettre has twice been honored as a Super Lawyers Rising Star by
the Top Young Lawyers in New Jersey for her skills in business
litigation. She is also the author of Turning The Tables In
Discrimination Suits: The Employer's Use of After-Acquired Evidence
of Employee Misconduct, which appeared in the May 2007 edition of
the New Jersey Law Journal.
