Felicia Corbett, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in
Clinical Psychology at St. John’s University. She has her Bachelors
in Psychology from St. John’s University, her Masters in Psychology
in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her
Masters in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University. She was
a research fellow with The Child HELP Partnership (formerly the
PARTNERS Program) from 2007-2011. In 2011-2012 she completed an APA
accredited internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in
Syracuse, NY and recently returned as a full-time clinician for
Project CONNECT. Her
current research interests include examining the relationship
between cognitive attributions and symptom expression in children
who have been physically and/or sexually abused, and exploring
protective factors in children exposed to domestic violence and
community violence. Felicia is excited about partnering with
community organizations and bringing state-of-the-art mental health
services to underserved children and families in Queens.
