Felicia Corbett, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in Clinical
Psychology at St. John’s University and has been with the PARTNERS
Program since the Fall of 2007. She has her B.A. in psychology from
St. John’s University and her Masters in Psychology in Education
from Teachers College, Columbia University. In the past, she has
worked as a PM Counselor for individuals with mental retardation,
Down syndrome, and autism at YAI- The National Institute for People
with Disabilities. Her current research interests include the
relationship between cognitive attributions and symptom expression
in children who have been physically or sexually abused, resilience
in children exposed to domestic violence and abuse, and the effects
of parental alcoholism on children’s social skills.
