Dr. Carole Campbell, Ph.D. began working with the
Child HELP Partnership as a Clinician and Project
coordinator in 2006, and now is Military Families Project
Coordinator, leading PARTNERS Virginia (PARTNERS –VA).
Initiated in 2008,PARTNERS-VA is a clinical research program
designed to serve maltreated children in military families and is a
collaboration with the Child Abuse Program
at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), where
Dr. Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Assistant
Professor in the Eastern
Virginia Medical School Division of Child Abuse
Pediatrics. Her interests focus on developing and
disseminating effective interventions for traumatized youth, with
particular interest in tailoring interventions to underserved
groups including Hispanic youth as well as children of military
personnel.
