I have been teaching mathematics and computer science for over 40 years, 37 years on the college/university level.  During the first 7 of these years 37 years, I was an assistant professor teaching mathematics majors at SUNY/ College at Old Westbury, and I am now an associate professor, teaching mainly computer science, completing my 30th year at St. John’s University.  I have a basic interest in abstract algebra, especially ring theory, but I consider myself more a generalist. I have taught over 30 different course during my years at St. John’s.
