Min Wang, assistant professor at St. John's University. She taught Chinese in Shanghai and The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. She obtained her bachelor's and first master's in China and the second masters and Ph. D. in America. She taught two courses in the fall of 2016: EDU 9001 Foundations of Bilingual and Second Languages Education; EDU 9012 Methods of Language and Academic Assessment for ELLs and Exceptional Learners. She taught three classes in the spring of 2017: EDU 9002 Psychology and Sociology of Language and Bilingualism; EDU 9010 Linguistics for Teachers of English Language and Exceptional Learners (Two sessions).

Her teaching interests include TESOL, second language acquisition and development, authentic assessment, and Chinese literature.

Research Interests

Her research interests include second language acquisition and L2 learners' identity negotiation, multimodality and L2 literacies, ELL teachers' agency, identity, and teaching practice, and translanguaging and identity development.
