Dr. K. Matthew Wong is a professor of finance and has been a member of St. john's faculty since 1989. He has published articles on topics such as common stock performance and inflation, asset allocation strategies for retirement contributions, swap pricing anomalies, and securities regulation in China. In addition to having a Ph.D in finance and the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Dr Wong is an attorney and has previously practiced at two major international law firms in New York City specializing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, high yield financing and structured finance, including securitization. He is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law in New York, where he received the CJS Award in Contracts and was an Associate Editor of the Fordham Law Review. He was previously an assistant chair of the Department of Economics & Finance. He currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Finance Issues and the ISM Journal of international Business. In addition, he is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Emerging Markets. Between 2009 and 2013, Dr. Wong was a member of the Board of Advisors for LifeWatch, Inc. a Swiss telemedicine company.
