Gina Castle Bell, Ph.D.
Dr. Bell comes to St. John's University as an Assistant Professor in the Rhetoric, Communication, and Theatre department. She received her Ph.D. in communication from George Mason University. Her M.A. was in interpersonal communication from the University of Central Florida. Most recently Dr. Bell was a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of communication Studies at West Chester University in West Chester, PA. She has coauthored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and encyclopedia entries. her book, Talking Black and White: An Intercultural Exploration of Twenty-First-Century Racism, Prejudice, and Perception, was released in July 2017. Dr. Bell has presented at more than 35 conferences. her future lines of research include and exploration of dialogue change on gun control and cocultural exploration of race in the military.
