Donna Sym, Pharm.D.

Associate Professor
Donna Sym has been a practicing pharmacist for more than 30 years. Prior to joining St. John's University she was an Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist at Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook, NY and a Medical Science Manager, Infectious Disease, for Bristol- Myers Squibb. Currently, she is an Associate Clinical Professor at St. John's and maintains a clinical practice site at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY. Her research interests include improvement of medication adherence and optimization of antibiotic efficacy utilizing pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic dosing strategies.
