Dr. Hedlund has over 15 years of domestic and international experience in sport, coaching, business and education.  His areas of sport expertise and research include management, marketing, consumer behavior, entrepreneurship, coaching and analytics.  In recent years, Dr. Hedlund has acted as a journal, conference and book reviewer for organizations from around the world.  Dr. Hedlund also acts as a consultant for sports analytics groups and other sport, business and entrepreneurial ventures, while also co-directing the St. John's University Sports Analytics (SJUSA) seminar.
