St. John’s University’s Rev. Michael Carroll, C.M. Has Private Audience With Pope Benedict Prior To Meeting With Catholic Leaders In Washington, D.C.

Rev. Michael J. Carroll, C.M., Executive Vice President for Mission and Branch Campuses at St. John’s University, was one of a select group of 10 who were introduced to Pope Benedict XVI by Catholic University of America President, the Very Rev. David O’Connell on April 17 prior to the Holy Father’s meeting with Catholic Leaders in Washington, D.C.

Also included in the group of 10 were broadcast journalists Tim Russert of NBC News and MSNBC and Wolf Blitzer of CNN.

The brief encounter took place in the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center on the campus of Catholic University of America.
