Traveling from across the United States, pilgrims who seek
healing will pass through John F. Kennedy (JFK)
International Airport this spring as they journey to the
sacred waters of Lourdes, France.
Through a unique Vincentian service opportunity, you can join
St. John’s administrators and staff in providing hospitality to the
pilgrims. Hearing their stories, offering encouragement and
companionship, you can help them make their way to the Air France
ticket terminal counter at Terminal One.
Register now for this hospitality opportunity
to greet pilgrims as they check in at JFK for their continuing
journey to Lourdes. Campus of Ministry will be equipped with
wheelchairs to aid those making their way to their flights.
We will return to JFK a week later to assist pilgrims as they
return from Lourdes. As with all Vincentian service opportunities,
you will have the chance to reflect on your experiences, finding
deeper meaning and purpose through St. Vincent’s own practice of
reflection and prayer.
