To realize, react and remember the one in six men, women and
children in America that struggle with food insecurity every day,
Campus Ministry, in conjunction with Multicultural Affairs (Queens
and Staten Island campuses), Student Wellness and the student
groups of Campus Ministry and Campus Activities, among others,
present the annual Hunger Awareness Month. There is a lineup of activities that will capture the
University’s mission in action.
Throughout the month of November, students will be invited to
participate in the Rice for Life Campaign to join millions of
compassionate citizens who donate rice daily to those in need. To

You can also track your donation and see how much your friends are
donating. The individual who donates the most rice from November
1–22 will win one personal training session from the Fitness
