Founder's Week 2003

Vincentian Excellence
Founder's Week: January 25 - February 1, 2003

"It is not enough to do good; it must be done well." - St. Vincent de Paul

The Core Value of “Excellence” promotes standards that propel our faculty, students and administrators toward academic excellence.  Striving, growing, never being complacent, St. John’s University produces citizens of the world.  For Vincentians, excellence is synonymous with leadership. And to truly make a difference, leaders must be equipped -- intellectually, physically, and spiritually -- to achieve excellence through action.

Through discussions, presentations, and workshops, students and faculty, staff and alumni explore the many ways all of us can make our world a better place.
