Susan J. Stabile joined the faculty of St. John's School of Law
in 1993, after being associated in New York and Hong Kong with the
international law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton.
Currently, she is a Vincentian Research Fellow with an interest in
Catholic legal theory and Catholic social thought, employee
benefits, executive compensation and corporate regulation. She is a
member of the editorial board of the Employee Rights and Employment
Policy Journal and a member of the Advisory Board of the John
Marshall Law School LL.M. Program in Employee Benefits. She holds a
J.D. from New York University School of Law and was recently
published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy on
“State Attempts to Define Religion: The Ramifications of Applying
Mandatory Prescription Contraceptive Coverage Statutes to Religious
Employers.”
