Students at the University’s School of Law participate in a poverty law training which will enable them to provide advice to unrepresented litigants at State public assistance, food stamps, and Medicaid fair hearings.
Diagnosticians, tutors, and students from the Reading and Writing Education Center of The School of Education, which operates under the direction of Dr. Richard Sinatra, worked one-on-one with children from various schools in Queens, Staten Island, and Oakdale providing diagnostic and tutoring assistance in reading and math.
